True Cut Tree Care has been working in these cities from the start of the company and has made lasting relationships with the residents who reside here. We have a large customer base here and they continue to support our small, family owned and operated and very reputable business. Our goal is to give people in these communities the best price we can for the jobs, do the best work we can for them so they think of us for any of their tree needs. The majority of our work and new customers come from referrals. Our customers are loyal and trust us with their families and friends and know that they are doing them a great favor by passing us along.
Another way that we get more interest is when we are working in a neighborhood and all the surrounding neighbors have been seeing us and what we do. They get the advantage of seeing us work on somebody else’s property first, then are even more confident that True Cut Tree Care is the right choice for them. Work is performed when the customer signs a detailed job quote, and if any questions arise on the job our crew is happy to help.
The area of Michigan that is now Oakland County was once home to a dense forest that was full of hardwood trees, such as Oaks and Hickory in the areas that had poor soil. The wetter areas that had richer soils, had more Maple trees and Beech trees, among others. There are many trees over a hundred years old that are a value to our land and environment. These trees need maintenece and proper care, and occasionally have to be removed for the safety of the property owners. Although this is the last course of action we prefer to take, it is required in some instances.
Unfortunately there are trees that get diseased and can harbor pests, and can spread quickly and kill off a whole species in some areas over several years. An example of this happening in Michigan is the Emerald Ash Borer. This insect has already killed tens of millions of ash trees in Michigan and affects surrounding states as well. This is an alarming problem and almost all of the ash trees in southeast Michigan are either already dead or dying. To learn about what you can do to prevent the EAB please visit http://www.emeraldashborer.info/.
If your ash trees are already dead and need to be removed, remember to contact us for an estimate before it’s so dead that it makes the problem more dangerous and expensive.
Most cities do not require permits to remove trees on private properties, unless it is a protected tree or a landmark tree. If there is a dead tree on city property, you can contact the city and they will give you the proper information on what will be done. You are not required to hire a private contractor. However, for trees on your private property, the best company to call for that job would be us!
